| I like to travel around the globe. In the last years I visited often Indonesia, Singapore and the USA. | But more often are short holidays or long weekends in the regions of Burgundy and Piemonte. Not only the wines, the food is very excellent too, in this regions. But both is better "offroad" the mass tourists "highways". | |||

| The first intercontinental trip was in 1978, four weeks in the southwest area of the USA. Next in 1990, same area, the states of California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. | Special was 1994. First the soccer world cup in Detroit (Silverdome) and in November the New York City marathon. | The second last visit in the USA was in October 2000. But only the bay area of
San Fancisco. Last last visit was Florida in Spring 2003. Low season for them, but it's a mass tourist area. Result, the prices are high, very high and for us, very expensiv holidays. |

| The first visit of Indonesia was 1989, mainly Bali, the Island of the Gods. Meantime there are 6 times holidays in Indonesia. | Very impressiv, how tourists in masses can change a small island. Not the whole, but specially southwest of Denpasar ( Nusa Dua, Kuta, Jimbaran, etc ). Something better is Sanur. But it is still possible to find the original, the real Bali. | |||
